Fishing - for those with a passion for fishing, the River Cole and the nearby Dronne offer good quality fishing, the Cole in particular being regularly stocked with Trout. Trepart has direct and private access to around 2 kilometres of river frontage.

Walking and Cycling - developed over the last few years are extensive pedestrian and bicycle tracks for you to explore the surounding countrside. All are cleally marked and graded accordingly to difficulty. Adult mountain bikes can be provided at reasonable rates

Golf - For the keen golfer a selection of both 9 and 18 hole courses may be found throughout the department.

Painting - the stunning scenary provides a magnificent backdrop for sketching and painting and classes can be organised through the studio of a locally renowned artist.

Canoeing - the slow flowing Cole and Dronne are ideal for canoeing for all the family. Two 3-man canoes are available for use around the Domain and several local outlets provide all equipment for longer adventures.

Shooting - during the winter season, hunting of game is a popular pastime. For those holding the relevant firearm certificates, temporary affiliation to the departmental hunt federation and introductions to local hunts can be arranged.
